Spore's mission is to democratise access to PAT by increasing the quality of care while decreasing its burdens. We have implemented the first cost-effective and ongoing-care program that uses PAT.
PAT has proven very effective for the most problematic mental health conditions, gaining TGA approval in Australia. While research trials demonstrate treatment efficacy, treatment programs remain highly inaccessible due to multiple pragmatic constraints.
As the science and engineering team behind the first randomised clinical trial at Monash University that focuses on PAT access and infrastructure, we understand the solutions to most pressing challenges of PAT.
Learning from our on-the-ground experiences, we created SPORE as a decentralised infrastructure and connection platform that reduces cost, maximises geographical access, and streamlines the full treatment process.
